Meet Rachel
Master's-Level Clinical Counseling Intern
Hello!
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapy process. Whether you are looking for support for your child, teen, or yourself, having someone who feels safe, understanding, and approachable can make all the difference.
Rachel is a Master's-Level Clinical Counseling Intern who works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, eating disorders, and life transitions. She brings a calm, steady, and thoughtful presence into the therapy space, helping clients slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what feels overwhelming or unclear.
About Rachel
Rachel was drawn to counseling through a genuine passion for helping people feel less alone in what they are carrying and more confident in their ability to move forward.
Her training and personal values have shaped a grounded, supportive approach that blends emotional understanding with practical, realistic steps for growth. Rachel believes therapy should feel like a safe place to be honest, think out loud, and explore experiences without pressure to have everything figured out at once.
In session, Rachel is warm, observant, and intentional. She listens closely, notices patterns, and helps clients connect the dots in ways that feel gentle and manageable. She believes therapy is not about quickly fixing problems, but about creating a space where clients feel supported while developing the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges.
For children and teens, Rachel understands the importance of building trust while partnering with families to support meaningful progress outside of sessions.
What Therapy With Rachel Is Like
Clients working with Rachel can expect a therapist who is compassionate, encouraging, and willing to meet them where they are.
She creates a welcoming environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while also learning practical strategies to support growth. Rachel combines thoughtful conversations with realistic tools to help clients better understand themselves and move toward their goals.
